Freedom Is Not free!

  • What level of freedom have we achieved?
  • What are the caps and taxes on freedom?
  • Perhaps we should ask, "What is freedom?"
  • Are we all thinking of freedom from the same perspective?
  • Understanding what freedom is precludes the acquisition of freedom.
  • If we are all free, then no one is more or less free than another is.

Does freedom imply there are no conditions or limitations to one’s freedom; and is freedom conditional to our understanding of those conditions and limitations? If bondage is non-existent, then so is freedom, if no darkness, how can there be light? These truths are self-evident that were there is no sorrow neither is their joy; where no ignorance no knowledge, no knowledge of law no sin of willful disobedience, and if ignorance rules there is no progress and no profit, as we grovel under the cloud or uncertainty and strife.

Are their boundaries we aught not to cross, or thresh holds beyond our comprehension: in knowledge, capability or understanding?

The nature of every discipline, which we undertake to master, is determined and limited by our skill, capability, knowledge and understanding of principle and law within that discipline or arena of performance.

One thing that limits our freedom is ignorance, lack of knowledge and understanding. We need to know how things work, how they reward us and how they limit, restrict or hurt us.

We are free to choose, yet we have not the power to change or dispute the consequences, because universal, timeless, self-evident principle and law determine them. These principles and laws are immutable and therefore reliable, or disorder would prevail, chaos would rule, and uncertainty reign and severely limit or destroy freedom.

Freedom in this context is the result of a conditional promise. It only exists when we live harmoniously and in cooperation with other free agents, in obedience to principle and law as we perform within a given arena, or dominion of existence.

This is true and applies in macro- and micro-disciplines, which serve our society. However, in many ways, it is redundant and repetitive and may seem trite; but how trite is the placement of a decimal point or a zero? Nothing is unimportant, and no individual is insignificant. Understanding and respecting principle, in precept and in respect for immutable dominant law, guarantees our freedom or bondage, a consequence of our personal choice.

Why are we free? When ignorance, fear, fraud and deception are eliminated and obedience to truth rules, we are free. We are free to choose, any level of knowledge or understanding so long as our choices conform to principle and law, under or within any given discipline.

Too many assume freedom is a right, an unconditional promise, protected by the first amendment. Interpreted or falsely understood, some have thought that freedom means, we may speak, entertain and act out our fantasies to our hearts content. Freedom of speech is not an unconditional freedom of choice, thought, action or any other similar expression. A freedom is conditional to personal choice, guided by a knowledge of the truth, the exercise of wisdom, tempered by a sound understanding within an arena of disciplines.

Because kings, rulers and magistrates of yonder years were guilty of suppressing political freedom of speech, as the McCain/Feingold/Kennedy act restricts political speech on talk radio, with the exclusion of the MSM, weeks before election facilitating the government in power to stay in power by restricting freedom of information, which violates the First Amendment.

Others assume that the First Amendment gives a license to entertain, act out and promote, as recreation violence, crime, perverse and unwholesome behaviors. Not even in your wildest imagination are we to entertain such things, let alone as recreation. This clearly violates spiritual law, which alters good customs, noble and civil behaviors. It fosters addiction and weakness, ignorant perverse behavior, addiction to substance, sexual perversion, inordinate behaviour and worshiping the false goddess of pleasure, refusing responsibility or accountability for the actions we no longer control.

No wonder, that when we discount the wisdom the ages, that humanity reverts to corrupt, vile, perverse unwholesome nature, as we see multiply in the world today.

For it is written:

“There is a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated—”

“And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated”

(Doctrine and Covenants | Section 130:20 - 21)

There are no free lunches here, we cannot prosper in ignorance and, for some time now, we have held greater freedom than societies before because good people lived and died to protect the principle of freedom and the process whereby we are free.

The Constitution of The United States does not make us free. That is right. The Constitution of The United States of American does not make us free.

Thomas Jefferson said, “The Constitution was written for a moral people, and it will serve non other.”

I repeat again, “No wonder, that when we discount the wisdom the ages, that humanity reverts back to his corrupt, vile, perverse unwholesome nature, as we see multiply in the world today.”

A moral people is a wholesome people, and the product of a wholesome marriage and wholesome family environments that teach correct principle as is applied throughout the US Constitution; to learn, to understand and obey temporal and spiritual law. They cherish, care for and nourish one another, in wholesome productive discourse, wholesome entertainments and recreations. They set good examples to their neighbor; their lives are a living gospel of “things to be sought and things to avoid, with ways of life; the chief good; the aim or the end of life.”

We have all asked these questions; how many have found the correct answer, or accepted the wrong answer? This is where and how it all begins for each one of us, but do we all understand that the answer, is the other half of the question?

Why am I here?

Where did I come from?

What is my purpose?

What a great and humbling spiritual moment wherein we open up to the infinite and to God. When we move form wonder to wisdom, line upon line, and precept upon precept; where the spirit is nurtured, the soul is fed, and freedom born like an acorn, small and insignificant yet it grows to fill our whole being with light, the true knowledge of wisdom leading to freedom through obedience to principle and law.

Truth, the Great Emancipator

By learning the truth, we discover our weakness or personal flaws, as truth reveals them to us. Therefore, as the truth reveals each flaw, then power magnifies our ability to make better choices. Moreover, we obtain the greater blessing, progress, peace and happiness as we learn to live by the emerging principles of truth.

The crucial habit leads to self-mastery, to obey principle and law, to do what we ought to do, for the right reason, in the right spirit, because we desire to serve everyone’s interests.

It is to realize that positive attention gets positive results and that negative attention gets negative results. The crucial habit is the habit of honest positive change, in self-awareness, to recognize humbly each weakness, to strive to overcome them with all our heart, might, mind and strength.

Until we understand spiritually and physically all that is beneficial and correct to do, we do not change, nor could we ever happily "follow our bliss" or avoid needless sorrow.

What then is freedom?

"Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;"

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

(New Testament | John 8:31 - 32)

WE WILL NEVER ENJOY FREEDOM IGNORING PERSONAL SELF-MASTERY

IF WE FAIL TO TAME AND TRAIN OUR NATURE WE CAN NOT DETERMINE OUR FUTURE. THIS IS OUR GREATEST HOUR AND EVERY MOMENT IS DESTINY.

Ten New Deaths & 140 “Serious” Adverse Events Related to Gardasil

 Previous news reports:

“Earlier this month, the European Medicines Agency reported that two young women died shortly after being administered Gardasil, and three such deaths have been reported in the US."

“A 2007 analysis by Judicial Watch of Gardasil adverse event reports revealed that there had been at least 3,461 complaints of adverse reactions to the Gardasil vaccine, and there could have been as many as eight deaths attributable to Gardasil. According to Judicial Watch, in several instances, blood clots were reported to have occurred after the administration of Gardasil ... 28 women who miscarried after receiving Gardasil. ... Other side effects reported to the FDA included paralysis, Bells Palsy, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and seizures were also reported. “

“Oddly, Judicial Watch was only able to obtain the FDA’s reports on Gardasil after it filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the agency.”  Read more ...

In Respect For Truth and Veracity: The Facts!

The Unscientific Claims of Homosexual Promoters and Activists versus the Truth:

 THEIR CLAIMS:

    1. “That homosexuality has been repeatedly demonstrated to be, and is in fact, an innate, genetically-determined condition.”
    2. “That homosexuality is an immutable state of an individual.”
    3. “That the only disadvantages of homosexuality are those caused by social disapproval and discrimination.”
    4. “That a society composed of same-sex couples raising children in family-like units will differ from a society composed of traditional family units in no undesirable ways.”

These claims are the outcome of homosexual supporters think tanks, designed to divert public opinion and to take advantage of a tactic used by spin doctorates in smear or exalt . Furthermore to eliminate public fear and scrutiny of their real agenda. These claims needed to appear in nature, scientific, inoffensive and believable.

    1. Knowing that most people are motivated by fear and ignorance it is easier for the repetition to believe negative, fake news or press release, more than is the regular positive news or press release.
      1. The great masses of the people [. . .] will more easily fall victims to a big lie than to a small one."
        --Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf
A tactic Hitler used to get elected, which is used in political smear campaigns by corrupt politicians even today.
      2. 'In an interview with the Washington Blade, a major homosexual newspaper, it was stated by the author and other group members that they learned to apply “subversive tactics, drawn largely from the voluminous Mein Kampf, by Adolph Hitler, which they said, " some of us studied as a working model.”’
Source: E. Pollard. “Time to Give up Fascist Tactics,” Washington Blade, 31 January 1992, p. 39

Claims vs Facts: obtained from the original Homosexual researchers testimonies in retrospect.

CLAIMS vs. THE EVIDENCE

Claim 1. That homosexuality has been repeatedly demonstrated to be, and is in fact, an innate, genetically-determined condition.

  • Dean Hamer of the National Institutes of Health performed and published the research most widely cited as pointing to a "gay gene." Dr. Hamer testified in the Colorado Proposition 2 court case that he was "99.5% certain that homosexuality is genetic." He later came to the following conclusions:

"The pedigree failed to produce what we originally hoped to find: simple Mendelian inheritance. In fact, we never found a single family in which homosexuality was distributed in the obvious pattern that Mendel observed..."

  • Hamer's study was duplicated by Rice and elsewhere with research that was more robust. In this replication the genetic markers found by Hamer turned out to be of no statistical significance:

"It is unclear why our results are so discrepant from Hamer's original study. Because our study was larger than that of Hamer's and elsewhere, we certainly had adequate power to detect a genetic effect as large as reported in that study. Nonetheless, our data does not support the presence of a gene of large effect influencing sexual orientation..."

      • Simon LeVay, a neuroanatomist at The Salk Institute in San Diego, founded the Institute for Gay and Lesbian Education in San Francisco after researching and publishing the study of hypothalamic structures in men most widely-cited as confirming innate brain differences between homosexuals and heterosexuals, as he himself initially argued. He later acknowledged:
      • "It's important to stress what I didn't find. I did not prove that homosexuality is genetic, or find a genetic cause for being gay. I didn't show that gay men are born that way, the most common mistake people make in interpreting my work. Nor did I locate a gay center in the brain."

Furthermore:

"Since I looked at adult brains, we don't know if the differences I found were there at birth, or if they appeared later."

Also pertinent to the present debate is his observation that:

"...people who think that gays and lesbians are born that way are also more likely to support gay rights."

    • Dr. Mark Breedlove at the University of California at Berkeley, referring to his own research: "[My] findings give us proof for what we theoretically know to be the case - that sexual experience can alter the structure of the brain, just as genes can alter it. [I]t is possible that differences in sexual behavior cause differences in the brain (rather than are caused by differences in the brain.)"
    • Prominent research teams Byne & Parsons, and Friedman & Downey, both concluded that there was no evidence to support a biologic theory, but rather that homosexuality could be best explained by an alternative model where "temperamental and personality traits interact with the familial and social milieu as the individual's sexuality emerges."
    • Richard Pillard, is the coauthor of the two major twin studies on homosexuality most often cited as providing family evidence for homosexuality being inherited. He noted to an interviewer that he, his brother, and his sister are all homosexual and that one of his daughters from a now-failed marriage is bisexual. He speculated that his father was also homosexual. The interviewer, Chandler Burr, comments re Pillard: "Many of the scientists who have been studying homosexuality are gay, as am I." The interview is part of a book Burr wrote that purports to demonstrate that virtually all reputable scientists consider homosexuality genetic.

This is certainly what Pillard both wanted and expected to confirm by his research: "These studies were designed to detect heritable variation, and if it was present, to counter the prevalent belief that sexual orientation is largely the product of family interactions and the social environment"

But that is not what he found. Rather, he concluded:

"

Although male and female homosexuality appear to be at least somewhat heritable, environment must also be of considerable importance in their origins."

In Summary:

Their First Claim failed to produce any proof, that Homosexuality had been repeatedly demonstrated to be, or was in fact, an innate, genetically-determined condition.

Dean Hamer acknowledged that he never found a single family in which homosexuality was distributed in the obvious pattern that Mendel observed..." Hamer' study that was duplicated by Rice and elsewhere with research that was more robust. In this replication the genetic markers found by Hamer turned out to be of no statistical significance. In addition,

data did not support the presence of a gene of large effect influencing sexual orientation.

Every one of the claims in like manner and elsewhere were acknowledge as unproven by the original researchers. It is enough to realize that Homosexuality is like all behaviors learned, to cope with pain, boredom disappointment and low self-esteem through addictive behaviors, which become predominant in nature, more than anything else. There addictions than are used to manipulate them for profit and to exploit their never ending unnecessary necessities, the addictions. The Porn Industry, a multi-billion dollar smut industry invests in Homosexuals, a source of their material. The doctors who perform transsexual operations have a vested interest, as have the legal and illegal drug industries. Money to back the exploited to exploit the rest of us. It is a known fact that when you destroy the traditional Judeo-Christian values there is not much left to stop them from exploiting a nation, as they have become undisciplined barn animals, and care only for their immediate needs, the addictive behaviour or substance.

We see this in the exploitation of illegals and aboriginals and other ethnic groups here and abroad.

Where there is truth, there is liberty Where liberty is, there is truth.

The source of this promoted deception is not a product of homosexuals, but a product of their exploiters, to whom they are also indebted to. It is a sinister crime ring that is cunning and patient, and for that reason the following is good advice.

(New Testament | Matthew 10:16)
16 ¶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

The following is the only source of freedom or liberty.

(New Testament | 2 Corinthians 3:17 - 18)
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

(New Testament | 2 Corinthians 3:6)
6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

In making these assertions, I nave considered carefully the validity and actuality of principles involved and in the fantasies and common assumptions made to appease rather than to resolve or find in actuality the solution. We should never compromise truth to justify an untruth that promotes the addictive cycle and spiral to degeneration and ruin.

“Choice Determines Destiny.” “Now is our finest hour, and every moment is destiny.”

Evangelicals and Mormons are Christians?

This is a spin-off from my last Blog. God Creates Out Of Nothing Is A Myth. I wish to respond to Mike whose approach is too often used to attack another's sincere belief, by twisting ones beliefs into an unacceptable charge.  It is an inaccurate series of statements which say little about their common shared beliefs.  Wouldn't you know, we are all different, and everyone is as different as the stars in the sky, or the limbs of a tree.

Sunday, May, 04, 2008 11:52 PM Mike writes:
And is not Omnipotent, Omnipresent....
So perhaps Mormonism is true? That "God" created the earth after having been a good Mormon on some other planet and then achieving Godhood himself? And then, contrary to orthodox Christianity, Jesus, rather than being God in the flesh is simply the "Son of God" from the pre-existence (and, contrary to what some pundits on this website want to say, the literal brother of Satan)? Glenn isn't Glenn Beck, is he?
-------------------------
Spiceman responds,
Omnipotent, He is in that He governs all in wisdom, understanding and might, yet He grants man their agency to choose whom or what they shall love. His influence is omnipresent in as much as principle and law expand their influence throughout endless eternities of space and time. Truth is ever-present in that through the laws God, God governs all things, at all times and in everyplace, there are no exceptions on when, where of how principle and law governs.

Man may choose, yet by every choice made the concurring nature of principle and law by which God governs all in all throughout the universe of time and space, predetermines the consequence or benefit.

Who is it that determines what is orthodox. man or God? As you mention here about orthodox Christianity,
"And then, contrary to orthodox Christianity, Jesus, rather than being God in the flesh is simply the "Son of God" from the pre-existence (and, contrary to what some pundits on this website want to say, the literal brother of Satan)?
Who am I to change what is, what was or what shall be? The past is cast in the eternities of time, the future holds awaiting us the consequence or benefit of our choices according to our desires, thoughts and actions.

A LETTER CONCERNING TOLERATION
John Locke

Honoured Sir, Since you are pleased to inquire what are my thoughts about the mutual toleration of Christians in their different professions of religion, I must needs answer you freely that I esteem that toleration to be the chief characteristic mark of the true Church. For whatsoever some people boast of the antiquity of places and names, or of the pomp of their outward worship; others, of the reformation of their discipline; all, of the orthodoxy of their faith—for everyone is orthodox to himself—these things, and all others of this nature, are much rather marks of men striving for power and empire over one another than of the Church of Christ. Let anyone have never so true a claim to all these things, yet if he be destitute of charity, meekness, and good-will in general towards all mankind, even to those that are not Christians, he is certainly yet short of being a true Christian himself. "The kings of the Gentiles exercise leadership over them," said our Saviour to his disciples, "but ye shall not be so." The business of true religion is quite another thing. It is not instituted in order to the erecting of an external pomp, nor to the obtaining of ecclesiastical dominion, nor to the exercising of compulsive force, but to the regulating of men's lives, according to the rules of virtue and piety. Whosoever will list himself under the banner of Christ, must, in the first place and above all things, make war upon his own lusts and vices.

(New Testament | Mark 10:42 - 45)
42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.
45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
What is Christianity about anyway? Is it about churches and religion or being saved without the works of righteousness? I will not try to answer those questions, but I will attempt to suggest some answers for the the first question. What is Christianity? Lets take a look at one dictionary source.

From the restoration, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, its followers first called Mormons as a rebuff for their acceptance of new scripture, translated from gold plates, that were hidden by Moroni app. 400 years AD. Moroni the son of Mormon, an ancient Prophet who abridged the records and delivered them to Moroni to complete and hide up for future generations, as the destruction or annihialation of his people was taking place, because of their wickedness and complete rejection of God and the atonement of Christ.

It is in effect a new witness for Jesus Christ. Anyone who reads it will never be the same. The reality of this history, which has been challenged from every angle by those who believe that God does not give revelations, or new scripture.
(Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 29:5 - 14) ... App. 600 BC
5 O ye Gentiles, have ye remembered the Jews, mine ancient covenant people? Nay; but ye have cursed them, and have hated them, and have not sought to recover them. But behold, I will return all these things upon your own heads; for I the Lord have not forgotten my people.
6 Thou fool, that shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible. Have ye obtained a Bible save it were by the Jews?
7 Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?
8 Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another. And when the two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also.
9 And I do this that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure. And because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another; for my work is not yet finished; neither shall it be until the end of man, neither from that time henceforth and forever.
10 Wherefore, because that ye have a Bible ye need not suppose that it contains all my words; neither need ye suppose that I have not caused more to be written.
11 For I command all men, both in the east and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and in the islands of the sea, that they shall write the words which I speak unto them; for out of the books which shall be written I will judge the world, every man according to their works, according to that which is written.
12 For behold, I shall speak unto the Jews and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the Nephites and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the other tribes of the house of Israel, which I have led away, and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth and they shall write it.
13 And it shall come to pass that the Jews shall have the words of the Nephites, and the Nephites shall have the words of the Jews; and the Nephites and the Jews shall have the words of the lost tribes of Israel; and the lost tribes of Israel shall have the words of the Nephites and the Jews.
14 And it shall come to pass that my people, which are of the house of Israel, shall be gathered home unto the lands of their possessions; and my word also shall be gathered in one. And I will show unto them that fight against my word and against my people, who are of the house of Israel, that I am God, and that I covenanted with Abraham that I would remember his seed forever.
Because God is omnipotent He can do all things that His work and salvation may come to all of his Children, and to the promised people, and to all who will hear his voice, and recognize that He is a God the does not change, as it is written to, "prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever;"
A true Christian will live by every word that comes from the mouth of God, whether written, or obtained by the spirit of revelation through the Holy Ghost or the spirit of Christ. Who am I to deny anyone who is called or desires to be called after Christ’s name. Neither have we the right to deny those who worship in righteousness, God as they have come to understand Him.
(Pearl of Great Price | Articles of Faith 1:11)
11 We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
This I believe to be true and because I believe it to be true, I know that we are all members of the body of Christ is we do as Christ says, "Love one another as I have loved you. that ye also love one another."

Mike, I respect your sincerity, however I fail to see where you have any calling to jeer at another'S sincere heartfelt convictions. It you are right you do not need to prove any other’s belief false. All you need to do is to live according to your faith and, "let your light so shine that they may see your good works."

God bless you
Please accept the challenge and my sincere testimony.

God Creates Out Of Nothing Is A Myth.

God Creates Out Of Nothing--Is A Myth.

Most misunderstandings are because of faulty logic, or personal views and opinions without adequate premise or proof to justify something. Finding that we can not prove it we rationalize, rather then investigate with an open mind, to determine the real truth of the mater. It is better to know the truth when we are wrong, than to live in darkness and superstition.

Create from the original Hebrew does not mean to make something from nothing. This misconception crept in later during the dark ages, of the Catholic Church rule. Some of the Protestant Churches embrace that concept. There is no proof of that any more than there is proof of the Big Bang Theory. Pure suppositions.

A False Premise is Not a Premise

Create does not mean, made out of nothing - The Hebrew roots and meaning follows.

(Old Testament | Genesis Heading:: - 1:1)

wp7931fdbd_0f.jpg

English Hebrew Dictionary: Create

wp24136213_0f.jpg

From a primitive root

Mean (absolute) to create; (qualified) to cut down (a wood), select, feed (as formative processes)

KJV choose, create (creator), cut down, dispatch, do, make (fat)

Further more and paramount to know, is that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not founded on that myth, it is based on faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. To know Him and to know God our Eternal Father in Heaven.

(New Testament | John 17:3 - 5)

3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

This brings us to another myth, that originates with the Nicene Creed that God the Father and the Son along with the Holyghost are one in body, or an entity of three seprate being in one.
Their proof again comes from the scriptures that mention the Father and son are one, which is being interpreted as one in body, though it does not say that at all.  But is we go to the Greek meaning ffor "ONE" their claim is abliterated totally.  But they still cling to that belief.  I respect their freedom to belive as they wish,  but from Christ's prayer in Garden of Gethsemane before the crusufiction Christ states that, "this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom" God the Father had sent.
The dogmas taken for doctrine, the misinterpetation of the original meanings of the biblical text tendes to be ignored, and I fear that this inorance is one to the causes of conflict between all christian faiths.  For some it is obviously a means to make a living.  But as Paul said it is better to not to preach for gain.
I do belive what Jesus declared to the Apostlles when he said"

(New Testament | John 8:31 - 32)
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

(New Testament | John 8:35 - 36)
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Prayer and faith in America

The First Amendment does not forbid prayer in the public square, it sanctions that freedom. Shall we forbid a virtuous act, because it is religious or shall we promote immoral actions because they are a religious belief. Religious piety is drawn from spiritual, virtuous principles of behaviour, which arise out of a pure, honest, sincere heart, having a clear conscience toward the God of truth.

"Prayer is the souls sincere desire, uttered or unexpressed."

Much like positive sincere affirmations we learn and put our faith in which alters our thoughts, feelings and desires that alter our habits and behaviour. And if unaware or malicious, this can be used in a negative vicious manner if we are so inclined, as we sometimes do to each other, claiming we are right while faith in their purpose is wrong. Are secularist totally wrong in everything? No they are not. Are the religions totally right in everything? Absolutely not, and the fact remains members within each denomination as do secularists, all differ, as to all other religions. This is the nature of man, and because of pride, and bigotry on both sides we keep ourselves from learning the true way of Christ, to, "Overcome evil with good."

One truth states this, "There is a lot of good in the worst of us, and a lot of bad in the best of us; so, it behooves the rest of us to judge any of us.”

From the speech Faith in America, "I Recall the early days of the First Continental Congress in Philadelphia, during the fall of 1774. With Boston occupied by British troops, there were rumors of imminent hostilities and fears of an impending war. In this time of peril, someone suggested that they pray. But there were objections. 'They were too divided in religious sentiments', what with Episcopalians and Quakers, Anabaptists and Congregationalists, Presbyterians and Catholics.

"Then Sam Adams rose, and said he would hear a prayer from anyone of piety and good character, as long as they were a patriot.

"And so together they prayed, and together they fought, and together, by the grace of God ... they founded this great nation.”

Faith In The Infinite Reality

Thank you Mr. Zachary Gappa, you hit the nail on the head--driven to the hilt.

Secularism ignores the nature and purpose of the “First Amendment.” It is the state, which administers to the affairs of the commonwealth of the nation, and the churches administer to the affairs of ethical, moral and spiritual development for the maturity of its members.

Free speech is to be of an inspirational, encouraging nature, and must not interfere with the free agency of anyone, while it respects, guides and helps, us in taming and training, our behaviour appetites and passions in self-mastery.

Whether Secular or Religious, we must not ad insult to injury. Every act is an act of faith, whether secular or religious. Faith is not just a religious act; the secular movement practices it as well. The only difference is the object of ones faith, and to whom or what we believe to be the highest priority and purpose of our lives.

Truth is self-evident; it is a two-edged-sword for those whose beliefs are not self-evident. Today we can look back a hundred years to those who said, of what has been done today, could never be done. It was faith that led the inspired heart and mind to think outside the box, knowing there is more to life than what we see, feel or believe that does or does not exist.

You cannot prove God exists, or that He does not exist by material evidence, because God is spiritually discerned, just as the vision of every day discoveries cannot be denied, yet were seen before they ever materialized. That is the power of infinite faith. This goes far beyond the finite mind of fanatical Secularism or false Religiosity.

The First Amendment

The “Second Amendment” has been on my mind, and Ooops, dee doo, thanks for your understanding of my mistakes too.

Where were you when the world was created and the sons of God shouted for joy?

(Old Testament | Job 38:4 - 7 )
4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

How is it puny self-righteous men imagine in their heart and speculate out of existence the intelligence that creates earths and populates them, the God that looked into our hearts and said “I will make for these a dwelling place.”

It is impossible to measure something that is endless, or has no beginning. Further more it is self-evident, and obvious that man’s wisdom, of what is not out strips his knowledge of what is, because-- if is cannot be seen or measured, it cannot exist, or cannot be done. Insightfully put in the following poem.

It Can’t Be done (but the real title is “It Can Be Done.”

The man who misses all the fun
Is he who says, “It can’t be done.”
In solemn pride he stands aloof
And greets each venture with reproof.
Had he the power he’d efface
The history of the human race;
We’d have no radio or motor cars,
No streets lit by electric stars;
No telegraph nor telephone,
We’d linger in the age of stone.
The world would sleep if things were run
By men who say “It can’t be done.”

A fools wisdom does not extend beyond his ‘knows”, that lies only within what he personally sees, senses, hears, touches or smells. Yet he can imagine that he knows the depth, width, and breadth of the universe, of which he knows nothing of its beginning or its end, but in his puny speculations, “there is no intelligent design or designers, plan, purpose or objective of our existence“, because that is above their selfish plot to raise themselves above the God who creates us all, while fools say, “It’s all rubbish.”, because it refutes their carefully designed scheme to prove something they, know nothing of that in their mind they cannot fathom or understand, therefore it just could not or must not exist.

I have never seen God in a personal vision, but I have experienced and seen the works of His hand, that extend beyond my comprehension, and lift my aspirations to a high and nobler sphere.

I may not have seen God, but I have felt His inspiration, heard His whisper like rolling thunder within my heart and soul. I have been taught in dreams, and in lucid visions of science and the value of things I sought to understand. I say, that truly we get no more and no less than we expect, or reject. True faith is a scientific principle that builds a true principled conscience, while foolish denials of something we do not know does not mean, “It ain’t so.”

So I repeat:

“Truth is self-evident, it is a two-edged-sword for those whose beliefs are not self-evident. Today we can look back a hundred years to those who said, of what has been done today, could never be done. It was faith that led the inspired heart and mind to think outside the box, knowing there is more to life than what we see, feel or believe that does or does not exist.”

“You cannot prove God exists, or that He does not exist by material evidence, because God is spiritually discerned, just as the vision of every days discoveries cannot be denied, yet they were seen before they ever materialized. That is the power of the infinite faith. This goes far beyond the finite mind of fanatical Secularism or false Religiosity.”

How long dose it take to know? It takes fore ever, and ever--and by knowing we discover the truth, which is in the heart of God.

Separation of Responsibility

As mentioned in my first post, and on my Town Hall Blog. The separation of Church and state is a separation of duties to prevent a conflict of interest of Government or Church.

"Secularism ignores the nature and purpose of the “First Amendment.” The state administers to the affairs and commonwealth of the nation, when the churches administer to the affairs of ethical, moral and spiritual development for the maturity of its members. "

The fact is that too many persons, among the secular and religious practitioners force their beliefs on others, prohibited by the First amendment. I do not know everything, nor are all my opinions correct on everything, and my spelling proves that.

If we all knew the whole truth and supported that with all our heart, we would have no conflict. God's ways are not man's ways and war is not God's way. "He that liveth by the sword dieth by the sword." God's battle is to save souls. Only in extreme cases to use war, where God fights our battle is we are lead by his spirit, who seek to over come the evil, which prevails. Furthermore, good persons do not understand or follow God’s council and insist on using the devil’s tools, war, contention, etc. We may defend ourselves against a vicious attack, but we are not to provoke and initiate any such actions.

"Seek ye first the kingdom of Heaven and its righteousness, and all these things shall be add unto you." There is nothing beautiful in a self-righteous than a holier than thou attitude. Contend not with others, but pursue a steady course to serve the needy, the sick and the uninformed, which fight against their own ignorance making the same mistakes we all do. “When will we ever learn? When will we ever learn?”

“Prayer is the soul’s sincere desire, uttered or unexpressed.” In perfect love let us overcome fear, to serve and be patient with one another and not to offend or be offended because of Christ or the truth, so we may live peaceably, having good will to all humanity.

A true lie is to intentionally deceive. How do you believe my sincere faith and belief is a true lie?
Is faith only a religious act, or is it a dogmatic belief in something that is false.
"Faith is the Substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Heb. 11:1
Do we not all have something to hope for" Are we not seeking evidence of things which we have not seen? If this is so, then all mankind lives by faith in something, and thus idolitry is followed by faith in the unseen which is untrue.

True faith is to have faith and a vision of the unseen, which is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen," which are true.

Faith is not blind. It is the key to vision. and "Without vision the people perish."
